My laptop is Toshiba Satellite A205-S5812. Few days ago i disassemble the laptop to clear the dust from the fan but today when i listened music from media player i have noticed that the sound from the left speaker is very low. Even if i set the left speaker volume to max i can barely hear the sound from it.
I don't think i did something wrong when i disassemble the laptop, because i didn't touch any cables that are connected to the speakers.

Is there any way to check if this problem with the left speaker is because of bad driver or it is hardware issue? I have Windows XP installed.

Thanks!

look if the speaker are not on short circuit, this dont unable the PC to turn on, but unable the sound come clear from the speaker.

look if when you reassembled the laptop, the speaker wires get pressed against screws, or hard plastic parts

Easiest way is to connect some headsets/external speakers to the laptop and see if you have the same problem. If you don't have the same issue then the problem is the internal speakers.

I connected external speakers and the sound from the both speakers seems with equal quality. I guess the problem is with the internal speakers. I have to disassemble the laptop again and see if i can fix it, because the left speaker was working fine before the last disassembling.
