I have been having this problem lately when I restart my computer. I go to restart the computer and it just shuts off. I go to turn it on a few seconds later and it won't turn on. I have to unplug all power cables from the monitor and computer then leave it for a few minutes then plug them back in for it to turn on. I have my power button layout set correctly were the power button and sleep button do there thing. could this be a hardware problem or a software problem, anyone have any suggestions?

also here are some quick specs of my computer
fx 4100 3.6GHZ
8GB ddr3 RAM
HD 7750
ASROCK 960GB-GS3 FX
Corsair 750w modular

Also I was trying to update my drivers(beta 13.6). I was uninstalling my other drivers and it asked my to restart my computer. Well I restarted it and it would just shut down again. I took my plus out then put them back in and turned back the computer. The drivers were removed so I installed the new ones. I found these drivers even worse then the ones I had before. The fps in my game dropped even lower than it did before. So I tried uninstalling them and installed the old ones back. Now it seems programs like internet explore rand my catalyst client seem to be crashing (program has stopped working) I really wan't to get this problem fixed as it has been a big pain to go through all of this.

Have you tried booting into safe mode ? How old is your Power supply ? Also can you check your Hardware Temps and post back ?

For the Temps you can use any of the following : Speccy, CoreTemp or AIDA32 or AIDA64 depending on your OS
