When I load my new custom built PC, it says NTLDR and this is the first time I have turned it on

I built this custom built PC and today I decided to turn it on and display it on the TV because I don't have a monitor. However when it boots up, it first comes with the MSI logo, because the motherboard is MSI, and then afterwards it said "NTLDR is missing. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del."

Have you installed an Operating System?

The solution varies depending on Win7/Vista or Winxp if it is an OS software related issue.

Is you system set to boot from the location you installed the OS?
In bios make sure that boot order has your HDD first.
