What is the best Browser?

I am currently using Firefox 21.0, because the newer version has issues still. I am considering changing browsers but wanted some outside opinions before I do that.

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Marci

They all have their ups and downs, but Chrome is the most secure that I have found. I have experimented with malware and for a browser Chrome did pretty good at catching malware in downloads compared to a lot of anti-virus applications.

This is the first time I've heard of this ...how long has it been out there that I missed it?

As above ^^, Pale moon concentrates on trying to be a more transparent browser (less distracting from the browser content) imo; some 'non-browser' bits are removed, changes are not made for the sake of change or 'because Chrome does it', often a version or two 'behind' Firefox, currently 20.2 vs 22, yet security patches are updated to the same level, and some other FX 22+ patches/fixes/improvements are incorporated.

I've used it for 2-3 years now, preferring the x64 version as it usually 'feels' a little more immediate somehow.

Not all, a few are specifically coded to the Firefox name (or Firefox profile, Pale Moon uses its' own profile so both browsers are independent and can be used side-by-side) so they would require their dev to recode (yes, some will, on request), a few others need tweaking to work. The vast majority work fine.

It should be easy to track down any workarounds needed via the Pale Moon forum, plenty of details furnished there.

For the (any) x64 version, Plug-in support is limited and it obviously requires an x64 Windows version so it's not for everyone.
