I have the Asus Z87-Pro motherboard and when I go to boot the machine, it will go straight to bios and the SSD with my OS will not be recognized. After waiting a few minutes or rebooting to bios once or twice, the SSD will finally be recognized, then I have to set it as my primary boot drive.
Machine will boot fine, but if I shut everything down for the day and go back to start the computer in the next morning, the drive will not be recognized again and I have to repeat the same annoying process.
Any suggestions?
I have swapped SSD positions with another ssd that is always recognized in the bios and the problem continues, could it be my SSD? Its an older SATA 3.0 GB/s unit from a laptop, samsung unit.
Thanks!
