I recently purchased a gaming PC from IBUYPOWER a few months ago. Everything seemed to be fine until a few weeks ago my PC would crash randomly when playing certain games, or rendering a video. I did some trail and error. It only seems to crash when I have a gpu installed. I've tried both my old GPU and my new gpu and I still get the crash. I've tried a lot of things such as sweeping my drivers, taking out ram, underclocking my gpus, changing around bios settings overclocking even. when I game/render/before the crash occurs, my temps are normal.
I am thinking this is a power supply issue and I want to see if there's anything I can try before sending my power supply back so if anyone can shed some light that would be appreciated, thanks!
Motherboard: ASROCK N68-VS3 FX
CPU: AMD FX-8120 3.1GHz
GPU: HD Radeon 6850 1gb
Memory: 8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200rpm
Case: Azza Solaris Mid Tower
atx 600wat model sl-8600eps is my power supply
Oh and to add; I can replicate the crash very easily. Rendering a video is guaranteed to make my pc crash. I crash when playing certain games but it's pretty random. Also the crashes aren't BSOD, my pc just powers off.
