Hi,

I have a custom PC that I made by myself with Windows 7 installed on it. Now, I want to restore it so that there's nothing on it but only Windows just when we buy it at the store. The reason: I want to sell it to another person in order to buy another PC. I don't have a CD to reinstall Windows. So, what can I do ?

Solution
just format all drives except ur boot drive using Windows inbuilt format function, then boot from the DVD, choose custom install, it will automatically wipe out the old OS installation

1. Uninstall all ur programs (Except core Windows ones) using a software that scans for leftovers such a Revo uninstaller
2. delete all ur personal files
3. format all HDD partitions except the C (or the one whr u have Windows installed)
1. Run CCleaner and Glary Utilities to scan for remaining junk files and clean the Registry

Would recommend wiping your hard drive with DBAN.
You can download Offical Windows 7 ISO's here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/248995/how_to_install_windows_7_without_the_disc.html

There is an Official Windows 7 CD to USB tool which you can install windows from flash drive (if you dont have a CD ROM).
Make sure you have your key before wiping and reinstalling.

Assuming you still have the key, this link shows exactly how to do it (USB or disk):

So, I make a DVD with the Windows 7 ISO, then wipe everything in my computer (SSD and HDD) and I boot on this DVD to reinstall the OS ? That's it ?

P.S. Which program should I take to format the drives ?
