Hello,

I'm wishing to build a new gaming PC and have generally been told that these Gigabyte Motherboards are superior to the ASUS motherboard I planned to get (Asus Z87-PLUS)

Just wondering if this is true and also out of those two motherboards, what is the real-world difference?
I cannot see much difference at all apart from the colour, which of these is better for a build of around £1600?
I have seen that the UD3H is cheaper

Thanks alot,

Their spec sheets are identical, but the UD4H has more power phases and bigger heatsinks on VRMs (with a heatpipe) and the chipset. This can theoretically be an advantage while overclocking, but in practice the difference is going to be slim to none if you don't engage in extreme overclocking.
