Like the title says,

I was wondering what are some risks of cross firing two different Radeon cards but also if it is worth doing so.

Is 650W bronze certified power supply enough for both cards?

How will the two cards affect my game play?

I am not that well experienced with Overclocking so with that said I never Overclocked my current Radeon 7870.

Thanks for the help.

The faster card (7870) will downclock itself to meet up with the slower card (7850), you need to have the same memory clock and GPU clock for the best performance. I'd recommend getting a higher end single card, however if you already have a card, it's recommended to get the identical card. A good 650w PSU will be enough for crossfire 7870's or 7850's.
