Hello.
I have a M1330 with a defunct battery and winxp installed. Essentially, the laptop can't be charged. It still works though, but must be constantly plugged in. My problem is that I am trying to install windows 7 with 4gbRAM. Unfortunately, in order to install Win7 with 4gbRAM I need to update my bio to A15. The issue arises after I click on the driver setup. The window that pops up states: "The AC adapter and battery must be plugged in before the system BIOS can be flashed. Press Ok when they are both plugged in or cancel or CANCEL to quit." I press Ok and the window closes but then immediately pops up again. Is there any way to circumvent that pop-up window? Please advise.
