Hi i have had my pc for about 2 years now, and i now have a problem, when i watch video/leave the computer idle for 4 minintues my gpu temp goes to 99% and my graphics card goes to a about 60 degrees, my games where running normal, but i was reciving more fps then normal (i had my fps on most games capped at 60 but it was going higher up to 100) at first i thought my graphics card was dying (asus nvidia geforce gtx 550 TI) so i thought i'd buy the 660 TI boost as i was due an upgrade, i installed it and it still gives me these problems, i have been using gpu temp to monitor it and have run disk defrag and clean up and everthing, i cannot figure the problem can anyone help me please?

If I had to guess, I'd say your GPU is on it's way out. A dying GPU will do weird things sometimes
