I have a custom design and the cpu modular cable comes with the 8pin and 4pin connector in one cable.
I want to braid the cables for my mod.
So my question is.
Since my motherboard only requires my 8pin connector, can I remove all the wires on that cable that lead to the 4pin? Since I don't need it.
Will this damage my psu/mb?
