Cheaper, yet good Z77 board?

I was going to get the P8Z77-V, however, I want to explore my possibilities for a cheaper board that can at least get a 3770k up to 4.2 Ghz without the VRMs exploding or the board catching fire.

Might look at the Rocks line, no other requirements or no budget is listed so could go the Z77 Extreme 4 (about the same) down to the EX 3 (about $125), the Pro4 $110, Pro 3 $95
