Cooler for i7-4770k

I want to upgrade from my C2A 9550 to i7-4770k. I'm using a ZALMAN CNPS5X for my Q9550 (no OC). From what I read, the Stock HSF comes with i7-4770k is garbage. It cannot keep the temperature below 100C on full load, causing CPU throttling. So I wonder if my Cooler can stand this i7-4770k on stock speed. My Q9550 have never reached 65C with this Cooler, and a benchmark indicates that with an i7-860 OC to 3.3 GHz, the temps on full load is 69C, with the room temp 23C. My room temperature is below 30C. Anyway, what do you guy think? Will the Cooler withstand the CPU.
By the way, can I use a 2400 MHz RAM with this CPU at stock speed by turning on XMP. I'm planning to buy a Gskill RAM bus 2400 and a motherboard that is listed in their QVL. Can I run the RAM at that speed with XMP?
Finally, what do you guy think about MSI mainboards?

If you ever plan on OCing, get a water cooler. In fact, since Haswell runs so warm, just get one. If there is room, get a Swiftech H220. If not, get the smaller (less effective) Corsair H60.
And yes, the RAM should work. If your motherboard supports 2400MHz RAM, then it should work.
I love Gigabyte motherboards; they are reliable, and perform well.

Won't touch MSI, Look to the big 3 Asus, GB and the Rock, 2400 DRAM will require a mild OC, as for a cooler, get the air Hyper 212 EVO or if stuck on going water, then will need a h100 min to do better than the EVO

Sorry for the double post guys. I didn't notice it until Today. While I was typing this and click Publish, Chrom turned off. =.=
Anyway, I don't want to do heavy Overclocking whatsoever. I just want to get it to about 4.1 Ghz (after I get the new PSU). I'm pratically a newbie overclocker.
Can either the CPU AIR COOLER MASTER TPC 812 or NOCTUA NH-U12P SE2 stands a chance. For the cooler, I have to buy it on my own so I'm on a budget. So which cooler is better in your opinion?
For the mainboard, I decided to go for Gigabyte GA Z87M D3H. it says Memory Support: DDR3 2933(O.C.)/1600/1333 MHz WTF, where is 1866, where is 2133?
