I'm currently trying to build a decent gaming rig. Been buying things here and there with every paycheck I get. However, I'm also antsy to start playing some MMOs with the current setup I have so far. But I really have some doubts about my PSU and how it would hold up with my rig.

Stuff I have so far.

PSU: Antec NEO ECO 520C

Would my PSU be a risk to my system? Or could I possibly have some heating problems even with the Stock fans of the 500R? I'm honestly fairly new to this and worry about it.

I tried the Extreme PSU calculator, and it came out to around 400W... but for some reason I highly doubt that and think I'm probably missing out some important things. I really think 600W would be my safezone and I don't want the money I spent on these guys to go to waste.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Antec PSUs are generally good quality, and from the system you list, 520w should be enough.

You already have it right? You're not looking at buying it I assume. If you are, there are of course better options. Just saying, if you already have it, I see no reason to not use it.

Yea, I currently do have it. After saving up again, I plan to head into watercooling and all the fancy stuff. By that point, I'll probably try and upgrade the GPU / PSU.

I dont see any problems with this set up.
That antec unit IS powerful enough for what you have. Your actual total system draw flat out would be under 300watts.
The guru of 3d test your gpu with a clocked 17 965 and it comes out at 275 . Fear not your good.
