Can somebody please tell me, why does GPU-z read my hd 6670 wrong? It sensor says it runs with 100mhz only knowing that it has 800mhz core clock (increases when i play a game though). Also texel fillrate is wrong. It should be 19.2 gtexel/s mine is 2.4 gtexel/s only. Is my card broken?or is it a driver issue?tnx guys in advance!

Solution
Use GPUZ and turns to the tab with all the paragraphs, then go play a heavy game and check back for the maximum GPU usage shown on that tab :)
It is normal to idle down when not loaded.

Mine idles at either 100MHz or 300 MHz depending on monitor configuration etc.

Should jump to 800MHz under load.

As far as texel fill rate, mine says 12 gtex/s. Not sure why yours would be so low.

Do you have the DDR3 or DDR5 version?

So its normal that it underclocks when not in use. Any ways I cant play Farcry 3 and Homefront with decent framerates even in low settings. Is it the Card or my Pentium e5800 3.2ghz? My framerates improved in crysis 2 and 1 and other games except those two games.
Goin to play crysis 3 later. I hope I can pull off a good framerate on it.

Here's my system

Pentium e5800 Dualcore 3.2ghz
G41mt-s2p board
4 gig ram
500 gb HDD seagate and 160 gb Hitachi HDD (games and OS)
Sapphire HD 6670 GDDR5
windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
