My computer will consist of an i5 2500K, GTX 670 and 8 GB RAM.

I plan to overclock in the future and possibly add another GTX 670 later on in order to keep up with the next generation of games.

My budget is anywhere between ~$100 and ~$200.

I plan on buying tomorrow. I would like the board to come with LAN and a bunch of USB ports (minimum 8). I was thinking about the ASUS P8Z77-V but I am not sure.

Also, I would prefer it if the board could be bought from mwave. Let me know if you need any more information.

The Rock supports up to 32GB @ 2400 with a 3570K, (3770K can run 2666-2800 on this mobo) at least that's what I'm running.. and with the 3570K at 4.7 24/7. This is one of the best mobos out there, as a builder, I go through all kinds of components, DRAM, GPU, PSU, Drives, SSDs, etc and test most on this rig. I've built with most all of the Z77 Asus mobos also and am sticking with the Rock as one of my personal rigs

If you're talking about bang for buck the asrock is a great choice mate. But for the extra 60 bucks you will get extra stuff like wireless lan better vrm's on the P8Z77-V, but you probably wont be using these. Overall i really like the quality of asus motherboards, its actually worth paying the extra for. But again if you're looking for a bang for buck solution, the extreme4 is fine.

Thanks for all your help.

I just read that the ASRock motherboard supports up to 1,333 MHz for Sandy Bridge CPUs. My RAM speeds are 1600 MHz.

Is this a limitation of the motherboard? Will the P8Z77-V support 1600 Mhz for Sandy Bridge?

Yeah, I'll be sure to let you know once my PC is finished.

I just have one more question which I thought wasn't worth making another thread for.
Will the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO be able to fit comfortably? I wouldn't want to buy it only to realise the RAM is in the way or something (Corsair Vengeance if it matters).

Once again, thanks for your help.
