What cases are compatible with a watercooling kit?

Solution
The Corsair H60 will just about fit in any case, a rear 120mm fan mount is pretty standard in case design nowadays.
Then you go straight up to a custom kit
A case with two 120mm fan mounts at the top (and motherboard clearance) should fit the rad just fine, and a free 5.25" bay for the pump/res.

Would a cooler master haf 912 plus cut it with a custom kit? Or should just get a corsair 300r?

Both cases support 240mm rads at the top, though motherboard clearance could be an issue for both.

I would go with the 912, it seems to be your preferred choice and it has rubber grommets at the back which will allow you to mount the radiator externally if need be. I have a HAF (the HAF-X or 942) case myself, external rads look pretty good on them :D.

For you it would probably be easier to mount it on the top of the case if it comes to it.

Also if you are custom water-cooling, I do recommend you read the sticky. Know what your getting into lest it will bite you later on.
