Recent Slow Connection

So starting about 8pm on Sunday night my Internet became extremely slow with crazy high ping. It's about 600-1200 ping and 12-30 kb/s download speeds.

The thing is, when I power cycle my modem my connection goes back to its full speed for 2-5 minutes, only to die down again. Any ideas?

As a UK cable user, this has to be an issue with Comcast kit, either they are oversubscribed in your area, or the local cable box or routing station is fubar !

Can you access the modems status pages, sometime 192.168.100.1

Internet provider is comcast, and the modem is getting warm but not hot enough to where I think it should be causing an issue. I let it sit for about 60 seconds each cycle.

Bump. Also weird, everything runs super slow, even after a full modem factory reset. The game I'm running on my PC (League of Legends) loads up and plays with minimal ping, about 50. Comcast reps reset on their end, nothing changed. Model of the modem is TC8305C.
