Would Corsair Vengeance® Low Profile — 32GB Dual/Quad Channel DDR3 (CML32GX3M4A1600C10) be compatible with a Gigabyte X79-UP4

I plan on installing the Corsair Vengeance® Low Profile — 32GB Dual/Quad Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CML32GX3M4A1600C10) on a Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 Motherboard.

I want to know if it would be compatible or not since it does not appear on the manufacturer's Qualified Vendors List. The list also doesn't include any 8GB sticks. So I don't know if I'm taking a huge risk here. The 16GB kit (4GB X 4) appears on there thoughl. But I can't get it at a reasonable price where I'm from (South Africa), so I opted for the 32GB kit instead.

Please advise.

Yes, you can use those RAM because the RAM's specifications do fit with the MB. And no way the RAM manufacturer will test all the RAM and put into the QVL.

Yes, the mobo makers simply 'test' with whatever is available, see my info thread here:
