Hi all,
Currently running a single XFX 7950 DD BE at 5760x1080 and wondering what to do.

I'm happy with the frame rates atm, but looking into the furture im stumped on what path to take.

Do I buy a second 7950 in 6 months or so after the HD8000s come out and i an take advantage of the price drop. OR do i swap it out completely for something better in a year or so...

My other consideration is that i have a custom watercooling loop on my CPU atm, but not the GPU as it isn't a reference PCB.
So this makes me want to trade my current GPU in the furture for probs a reference PCB HD8000 card and watercool it.

Im just asking for opinions at the moment given i dont know how much the HD8000 will improve over the HD7000 series.

Many thanks for everyones help! :)

The nex gen cards from amd will be the 9000 series. Amd is going to release new drivers in less than a month specially for improved CF results. I would recommend waiting for the 9000 series if its not that urgent.

thanks for the thoughts guys.

Any comments on the watercooling situation?
I'm hesitant to put universal water blocks on tbh, which i why i was looking to upgrade to a nextgen reference PCB card.

i have one of these (but the 2nd revision): http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-xfx-radeon-hd-7950-double-d-black-ghost-hcell-5500mhz-gddr5-900mhz-1792-cores-hdmi-mini-dpplusfr

so would match them if i was going to Xfire.

also the point is i already have watercooling. I want to expand the loop to include my GPU.
