Cooler Master Seidon?

I have the Cooler Master Geminii M4 and am in need of a better cooler since i got my phenom II x6 1045T OC to 3.7 and idle temps are about 45c and i would like more of an OC but wanna bring those temps down... The Cooler Master Seidon 240M is only $80 on Newegg

Would the Seidon 240M bring those temps down/worth it to get? I will be upgrading my CPU when Steamroller comes out... Also i have a Cooler Master elite 430 Case and not to sure if this would fit and allow me to have a fan on the back to blow hot air out? will be getting a Cooler Master HAF XB soon

P.S. I wasn't sure where to post this but figured CPU was good since it is a CPU cooler

P.S. I wasn't sure where to post this but figured CPU was good since it is a CPU cooler

Seidon is not bad for $80 and pairing it with a HAF XB is a good idea. Love that case!

I just got into the small cube like cases and the HAF XB has my heart, can fit a full sized ATX mobo in it WHAT?! WHAT?!

It will cool it for sure! AMD's cpu from what I know doesn't get too hot compared to current intel CPU's. Actually HAF XB is my first choice of case when building my rig, but then in the last minute for some unknown reason, Corsair's 650D caught my attention :lol:

I just ordered mine. I had a Kraken X60 that did not fit my CM Storm Scout. I am hoping that the Seidon 24M will fit, if not it is modding time lol. I am coming from an CM Hyper 212.

Anyway, I'd look for reviews on both and compare temps. Although I think it'll be hard to find comparable reviews.

yea i really want a small compact case i cant to my cousins or lan parties, and it fits full ATX. I would like the 900D but sadly it's bigger then my apartment

nice let me know how it goes, if it fits and how it does at cooling compared to that CM Hyper 212

worked great for my 4170 FX overclocked to 4.7ish. was cheap as hell as well.
