i recently had a problem with my built in lan port so i bought a new lan card.....its all fine but the problem is its not detected on first startup....but as i restart my pc it will suddenly be activated...ie the light on the modem would start blinking and will work normally.also during the first startup network adapters or lan port are also not found under device manager...but would be visible after restart.......i even updated drivers but for no solution.
i am confused if its a problem of modem,lan card or driver
one more thing to mention is that i opened the chasis and found that during initial startup the light of lan card wouldn't light up but after 3-4 mins it would be on....though no blinking occurs nor does my computer detects it....but after restart the light on modem and lan card would blink and my computer could recognize it. so finally whts all about?
