GPU upgrade suggestions

Hello lads,
I'm planning to upgrade my 9800GT to a DirectX 11 GPU and i would like any suggestions for a descent gaming performance GPU at a price below 100$/pounds.
I had a look around but got confused.
I was looking at the GT 630 at a very good price but it's scores where not good.
Any suggestions are welcome.

The GTX 650 is exactly what i was looking for.
and the 100 pound price is just right.
Thank you all for your help and links :wahoo:

  1. GT630 is a GPU with beyond terrible performance, as its performance is worse than a HD6570 from AMD, while being priced equal with the better HD6670. Under 100, you'd better get a HD7750/HD7770 instead.

A GTX650 Ti can be had around £100 and is your best option by far. It's miles faster than the GT630 or GT640 (honestly they're not even in the same league). Infact it's even 35-40% faster than a non-Ti GTX650, so you get a lot of performance for your money. Can handle Crysis 3 with ease at 1080p (but obviously not at max settings).
  3. +1 for the 650 ti
  4. Your really going to have to say whether your talking in dollars or pounds, the current exchange rate has 100 pounds worth $152 USD.
If your looking to game, I say get no less then a HD7770, a 7750 if your really tight on budget.

I wasn't clear on currency either, but OP states dollars or pounds, so safe to assume British and uninformed about exchange rates :-)

I really need to get my eyes tested. manofchalk is right as if you are in UK a 650 ti will set you back about £125.00 which would put you over budget. A regular 650 comes in at under a £100 but one of the recommendations above may be a better choice depending on country etc

  10. And this is why PC Part Picker is only good to an extent. Always search for your own deals :D.

Always do :-D price grabbers are good if you don't have the time, but they often miss good deals.
