I tried using OC genie (default mode) on my MSI Z87-GD65 gamin board, it sets my i5-4670 to 4.0 GHz and DRAM to 2133 MHz (I am using 16GB Gskill Trident X 2133 modules). But in windows it is highly unstable, getting BSODS all the times. I took OC genie off, and everything is fine again. What is wrong here? Should I OC manually? is OC genie not working well?

Solution
Set the DRAM via XMP, enable select profile 1, then OC the CPU slowly and manually, will prob need a slight vCore increase for CPU OC...if problems persist post up your DRAM model# and what the base/advanced timings are along w/ system voltages
