I have an issue with my monitor ever since I bought it.

The issue is:
only one resolution looks good(1600x900 which is my max res.) and doesn't break the aspect ratio, while other resolutions such as 1280x720, 800x600 etc. break the aspect ratio.

Now this issue is not present in some games such as: The Witcher 2 EE but is still a problem for desktop resolution and most other games.

The name of my monitor is: FLATRON W2043S

Please advise.

Completely and totally normal. Your max resolution is also your native resolution. I have not come across any LCD/LED monitor that will not make lower resolutions look blurry. Some will make the lower resolutions fill the screen, others will allow it to maintain it's ratio. There are also some that allow you to choose which method it uses. Apparently yours just makes most full screen.

Thanks man.
By the way I don't mind blurriness because its still full screen I'm fine with that.
But what annoys me the most is the aspect ratios being broken.

Anyway thanks again for answering my questions.
