Hello, tommorrow im ordering some new stuff for my pc, my main item is going to be this http://www.scan.co.uk/products/29-aoc-q2963pm-ips-ultra-wide-219-display-port-(daisy-chain)-hdmi-dvi-vga-2560x1080-300cd-m2-5ms

I really fancy doing nvidia surround but cant afford to buy 3 of those so i was wondering if i bought 2 cheaper smaller monitors if it would work, i was thinking mabey these http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/desktop-pc-monitors/monitor-projectors/pc-monitors/samsung-ls20b300ns-20-led-monitor-12593024-pdt.html

I have googled this and im getting mixed opinions, some people say it works with pictures proving it while other people say surround will be broken, i dont want the high res on the main center monitor reducing either, id rather not have he extra 2 monitors.

I have never messed with nvidia surround before and before i buy the extra 2 monitors i would really appreciate it if some one would let me know if it will work before i waste my money.

Thanks

With surround its best to have 3 identical monitors makes setup easy. But you atleast want to match resolutions mixing 1 2560x1080 with 2 1600x900 monitors, might be possible but the 2560x1080 will run @ 1600x900 if you are lucky, and it most likely wont look good at all.

Thants exactly what i dont want to happen, the reason im buying the 2560x1080 monitor is because of the high res, i think ill just buy that monitor and scrap the other 2, mabey borrow a friends at some point and test it to see what it looks like
