Ram slots not working please help
CPU 3960 i7 extreme edition
Motherboard asus rampage iv exreme
dual gtx 690
power supply evga 1500
Ram 4x8gb = 32gb corsair cmd32gx3m4a1866c10

my problem i had water cooler corsair h50 and the wire was cut inside the water block so it stopped working and my cpu was going up to 80C so i changed my water cooling and i got for now heatsink thermaltake contac30 and all was good but i noticed my bios was reading 24000 only not 32000 from my rams so i removed all and tried to switch but not working and now only one slot is working and boot up with me rest not working i tried each ram on that slot and boot up all works fine but other slots not working and nothing is broken or anything all good to go i updated bios to latest and i reseted to optimized defaults and every trick and i even cleaned with blower and still no luck at all any help at this please ??? i also tried memtest bu only shots 8132 only i tried every slot other than the working one please help :/

How about in windows? Does windows just recognize 24gb ram?

Ya was 24 till i removed all and tried switching so right now it reads only 8

Have you checked in your bios about dual channel or quad channel?

I have chked everywhere in bios for something like that i cant find at all if you can guide me where to find it in bios it will be great

Do you have the latest BIOS? check that, if you already have the latest, enable XMP and select profile 1, if that doen't work we'll have to set up manually

I'm not an expert but did you maybe damage the board while switching your coolers ?
And by the way I just checked your motherboard online, its awesome man, I really hope you fix the issue.

Okay, put the sticks in A1, B1, C1, and D1, set the freq to 1866, the base timings to 10-11-10-30, the CR (Command Rate) to 2T or 2N, DRAM voltage to 1.57, MC (memory controller) VTT to 1.2 and give it a try

Yes try changing the voltage to what I suggested and see how it does, DON'T use the voltages in the page I referenced, that was simply to show you where things are

Bro its kinda complicated here just bear with me please it says here as u see in pic cpu vtt switching freq auto or 1x or 1.3x and cpu vtt over current protection auto or enabled or disabled ok

As for dram it says in pic i sent to u dram ab current capabillity 100% 110 120 130 140% currently at 100%

Dram ab voltage freq auto now when i press on manual it start from 300 to 500 max

Dram ab power phase control auto or optimized or extreme

Same goes for cd as well so please guide me here thanks and u can see that in digi and power pic thanks

When i chkd Dimm post i found it reads sticks which installed at A1 &B1

What version of Win are you on? See at Start > Control Panel > system will show version up top in middle of screen
