just got with i5 3570K.

if you're only gaming, you won't see a difference. and honestly if the i5 bottlenecks anything, the i7 WILL NOT get you better performance in a game, you'll have to wait for next year or the year after to see if Intel releases anything faster

The i5 is more than capable to support xfire 7970. Overclocking will yield better results only in cpu intensive games.

I would reccommend you nvidia gpus as sli is much better than xfire due to better driver support and scaling.I would suggest 2 x gtx 760 - really great bang for buck.

AFAIK i5 3570k @ 4.3-4.6ghz will able keep up with gtx 760 sli.while i7 is minimal performance difference over i5.i would go with i5 3570k + 760sli

hey ASH just one question, i know about sli being better i was just taking a risk of getting crossfire since amd will update their drivers on 31 july for crossfire and beta testers so far say it's good, also because am getting a samsung s23a700d one of the best 120 hz monitors out there since it produces 17.7 million colors which the benq doesn't what do u think shud i risk it ?
