Looking for specific feedback on PSU sizing - I'll consider adding a second card in the future. I've got an old HDD i'll use as the data drive for now, and will add a big drive in the fall to complement it.

Also any areas to save money - memory would be my first place, but any other thoughts?

Yesterday, your MoBo / CPU combo had a $90 combo / coupon discount on newegg .... might wanna see if it surfaces again

I'd go 2 x8Gb ....easier on Memory controller and therefore can generally get slightly better CAS timings. Also, hi profile heat sinks oft cause interference issues w/ 3rd party coolers.

Id use the Phanteks over the Noc .... 5 year warranty instead of 1, slightly better thermals and Noc is just fugly :)
Cooler - $80 - Phanteks PH-TC14 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011
TIM - $7 - Shin Etsu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835150080

Id consider an HX850 if ya plan on overclocking those 770s

IPS for gaming ????? IPS make excellent monitors for photo editing and the like but even the best of them make for only average gaming monitors. I have a Dell U2710 and it kicks tail on the photo work, but the Asus 120Hz TN on the next desk is waaaaaayyyyy better at gaming.

Thanks for your responses - I appreciate your help.

JackNaylor, I like that memory but don't see it on ASUS' website as supported. Any thoughts? I agree about the 2x8 - that was my mistake when I was picking it out.

Also, regarding the monitor, I don't do "quick twitch" gaming and am more interested in size and resolution than response time. I think that the Auria is tough to beat at its price point on those dimensions.
