I will be building a new Haswell PC with the i7 4770K processor. I intend to overclock the processor in the future so I also buying the Corsair Hydro Series H100i CPU Cooler. There has been some talk about the new memory controller for the Haswell CPU's that as you overclock the CPU you have to reduce the RAM frequency. I want to know which of the following RAMs should I pick. All are corsair. :

Cost is not an issue.

I have picked the Ausu Maximus VI Hero motherboard so the red coloured RAM's should go with the colour scheme of the build. (Though it is not very important as the Cabinet does not have a window)

Thanks in advance

If cost is not an issue, then I'd go with the 2400 set

The 2400 will provide great performance and as you do more you can grow into it, as an alternative might look at The GSkill Trident 2400/10 set

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231587

I looked at both of these sets and also the RJ X in 2400, before settling on the Tridents in my 4x8GB config they have more OC headroom and perform better than the Corsairs....Have used a number of the Trident sets on builds and for performance upgrades for clients

I'm thinking US prices - the 2x4 2400 Tridents $85 at the Egg - the corsairs at Amazon $95 (and equivalent of $112 on the site above) - looks cheaper not more expensive - but not sure available there or what mark up would be, Corsair normally more expensive

I have a question for you, none of the Corsair or G. Skill you're recommending are on the
Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H + Haswell 4770K recommended memory.
I'm thinking going to 16G or even 32G. Which memory should I be using?

See, I have an issue with this right now. I just got a new PC build a month ago, and while I'm not a PC expert (admittedly I don't really know a lot about memory and it's interaction with processor/memory controllers, etc etc), I do have 16GB of G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 (2x8GB) and apparently they're not on the compatibility list in the MOBO's manual, and I seem to have issues with them every time I try to OC the CPU (4770k) every time I do it applies XMP, which causes my computer to BSOD over and over. When XMP is not applied, the RAM runs at 1333MHz even though it's rated as 1600MHz.
