I am planing to build a box with below mention configuration. I have few questions :

AMD FX-8350
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
16 gb RAM Q:should i go for 1333 or 1600 because not getting full info from gigabyte website

Transcend JetRam DDR3 8 GB PC RAM (JM1333KLH-8G)

or

Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10)

Please help..

Solution
That motherboard only supports 1333 DDR3 RAM. 1600MHz RAM would not be fully utilized with that motherboard, so no sense in spending the extra money on it. "Transcend JetRam" is nothing I've ever heard of. Corsair, I can guarantee you, is better RAM, but the product ID you provided is for 1600MHz. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231402

Edit: I should say "that motherboard only supports UP TO 1333MHz RAM" 1333 is the max speed for that mobo

What to think about over all build (cpu+mobo+1333) as i have less $ for my build.

Well, I certainly would recommend getting a graphics card first. Also, a hard drive haha. You're missing a couple parts to complete a rig, so give us a budget and we can help you out more precisely.

I have rest of the thg ready with me. from my old box and as per my requirement i don't need graphics card. will use this box as db/application and virtual server on vmware/oracle virtual box.

450W Coolermaster PSU
mid cabinet with 2 FAN
500 gb 7200 rpm HDD
80 gb ----Same-------

i m little worried about mobo as it starting am3 chip....
replacing p4 ht 3.0 and mobo with this as i need to run more virtual machines....

The Gigabyte websites memory support page say this mobo supports up to 1600Mhz RAM: http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-78lmt-usb3.pdf
Is there something I'm missing here? Any faster speed memory will be downgraded to 1600 automatically.
Ebuyer lists speed max as 1333? Could they be wrong as well? Trying to build a cheap, high performance AMD system with SATA3 support for a 500 MB/s SSD, already have the Corsair memory. Maybe a later bios update added more headroom? Good specs for a cheap MATX board with an internal USB 3 header, just what I'm looking for - £39.69!
