Hello,

I've recently bought a new headset the turtle beach PX21 I am happy with it but there's a severe problem with it, there is a constant buzzing noise through it I can literally hear my mouse moving and it gets even worse when I watch a clip on youtube. I had this with my old computer but now I have a brand new PC and I still get this annoying noise, these headset costs around €75 and I never had that with my old Logitech G330 headset.

These PX21 headset got a USB plug and a green 3.5mm jack, when I hold the green jack in my hand whilst the headset is plugged in via the USB port I even hear a buzz. It's really annoying since people can hear it over skype.

Is there a solution for this or should I just go and buy another USB only headset?

I tried using a USB soundcard, directly connected my PC to a electricity outlet etc.. I don't have it however when I am for example in the BIOS screen or just remove the green jack.

The problem is the usb, you are getting feedback from the usb power. You can try using a separate usb power adapter for it, that might help a little. Also are you using wireless?

It's not wireless no, what do you mean exactly by a serpare USB power adapter? Doesn't the USB need to be plugged in the computer in order to receive my voice? Since I don't have a pink jacket and it's probably build in the USB.

oh I see now, you need the usb for the mic to work, hmmm have you tried different usb plugs on the computer? since it must be getting electrical noise from the usb power. has anything carried over from your old computer?

Well I guess so my voice is probably transmitted via the USB which serves as power aswell. I tried every single USB port on my computer without any luck and no it's a brand new PC with new parts. I also tried to remove my USB keyboard and mouse but nothing changed.
