I have FX 6100 and Zotac GTX 660
2x4 Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz Memory
and Resolution is 1600x900
Crysis 3 : MAx settings
fps 28 - 38
But i saw a review which had
core i7
and Crysis 3 : 29 - 35 fps ON 1900x1080 !
Does CPU effect the performance this much ?

Solution
Since the Turbo Core on your 6100 is 3.5 GHz, I would say you could likely bump your multiplier in the BIOS up to 18 (3.6 GHz) before you even have to touch the voltage. I would do that and see if it boots and runs prime95 for about half an hour without errors. If it does, then go up in .5 increments until you get an error in prime95 during the half hour run. When you do, bump your vcore like .01-.02 at a time until you get prime95 stable for half an hour, then bump multiplier some more. Continue as far as you want to go...though I would say if you get over 4.0 GHz you're good. Also, don't bump your vcore past 1.45v, that's getting into a LOT of voltage to your CPU, and you're likely about maxed out where you sit if you're having...

buddy , i spent my savings on buying a good graphics card. i think gtx 660 is good enough for my resolution for almost all the games. But do u think the fps are low because of fx ? will i3 or i5 with good single thread performance do "considerable" good ?
Also i bought a cooler master 212 evo for overclocking my processor. will it improve my fps ?

660 is a low end card. What MSAA level are you running in crysis?

Please help me out with these
Max safe temp
And Max safe voltage
Dependance of voltage increase on the motherboard

Honestly...the GTX 660 gets up to about 35 FPS on high settings @ 1080p resolution. So, I don't think your CPU is the culprit.

I totally disagree with you, 660 is a mid range card. msaa 2x, and i think beyond that , at my resolution , i wont b able to notice any more aliasing.! and about the 660, i know its not that high end, but in 3d marks and practical performance, it lacks in max 15 fps on resolutions equal or less than HD.

At that point back off to your last stable OC and you're good. Also, keep an eye on temps, you want to remain under 62C at all times.

Today the 660 is a low end card. Right now from top to bottom

7990 > 690 > Titan > 780 > 770 > 7970 Ghz > 670 > 7970 > 760 > 7950 > 7870 = 660 > Boost > 7850 > 7770 > 7750 and so on and so on

Soon to be 4 if i find out they support quad SLI

And i didnt say the 660 was a bad card. Its actually a very good card for the money. It is just defined as a low end card thanks to the 760

The GTX 660 is not a low end card don't listen to that guy, he has lots of money so hr can settle for the best that's why he's saying that. For people who don't like going over board with computers (like mr. Triple SLI graphics card over here) the GTX 660 runs perfect as I get 60+FPS on BF3 Ultra Preset with a i5 3570k
