Okay, I have had two Sapphire HD7770 GHz edition in my pc since before christmas. I kept having crashes, and the second 7770 was never running fast / warm. Being a noob, I only just thought that it may be the power supply. It's 750 watt, and I thought that would be enough. My specs are

16 GB 1333 MHz ram,
Asus Maximus V Gene M Atx motherboard,
2x Sapphire HD7770 GHz edition (crossfire)
Intel i7 3770 (not K)
1x 7200 1 tb HDD
and a DVD reader.

I've found a 1000w power supply, but i'm thinking that's overkill?

(Another point, the second gpu was running of of a 6 pin that connects to two molex's as it only had one 6pin connector)

many thanks,

Louis

More than enough! A quality 550w PSU will power a system with 2 hd7770's

The hx750 will do no harm, except to your wallet.

I downloaded a new set of drivers yesterday, still no better. The brand is CiT (Colours-IT) and was a relatively cheap one. I was looking at the Corsair HX750 which has two six pins for GPU's, would this be enough?

Thanks a ton!
