CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard

At the edge of my budget already so can't afford to get a i5-3570k and don't really want any other intel processor so don't try and convice me to buy one. I would like to overclock my processor up to at least what the 8350 is

I want to make sure that I get a motherboard that comes with a BIOS that is compatible with my processor because I do not have another amd processor to update the motherboards BIOS. IF anyone can tell me about another processor that comes with the latest BIOS for about the same price I am open to that.

I also want to make sure that the motherboard would work with a EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked 2GB GDDR5 256bit, Dual-Link DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI,DP, SLI Ready Graphics Card. Don't plan on overclocking my graphics card or getting SLI

All help is appreciated

I am using AsRock board myself. Have been using them for the past 5-6 years and I never had a problem. I couldn't find any posts on the internet for having trouble with your CPU+Mobo combo. I think it's a good buy. Anyway problems can always occur, but I don't think the bios is going to be one of them.

AsRock makes a good motherboard, but isn't the best brand to go with for the purposes of overclocking. brands like ASUS and EVGA have features that make overclocking easier and tend to be more effective and dependable. of course, you will pay more for those brands, but that's the price of ease of use!

good luck and I hope this was useful.

What about the ASUS M5A97 or Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ? Really any motherboard for about 120$ that can overclock to a little over 4 Ghz

two excellent motherboards choices. however the Gigabyte board would be the better choice between the two of those boards, as the Gigabyte rocks the 990FX Northbridge. Gigabyte is another dependable brand for the money. The Gigabyte board should be highly overclockable with the FX-8320 chip you picked out.
