so I think I made a mistake by getting windows 7 upgrade. I didn't know that you need the full version to do a clean install so I just got the upgrade since it was cheaper. I have a computer that has windows xp so I still have a chance. I think I can either wipe the hard drive and just keep the os so there is nothing but windows xp on it or I can put windows xp on my 16gb flash drive. I don't know how I would do either way so I am hoping you guys know how to do this. my parts should be in either tomorrow or the day after so I want to get this done instead of messing with it when I should be putting the parts together. so what I need is to put my windows xp on a flash drive or get my old hard drive ready with only xp on it. I would prefer the flash drive way but what ever works best I will do it that way. thank you

so all I have to do is uncheck the "automatically activate windows when im online" box and im good? what if I got a key from a Microsoft license maker thing? I forget exactly what its called but you pay $3000 every 5 years and you get as many windows keys, office keys and anything want for 5 years? could I just use a key from that?
