Hello everybody,

My wireless network keeps disconnecting randomly on new laptops.

So..

Last year prior xmas, I bought BRAND NEW Samsung NP350V5C laptop from the shop. It was WIN 7 laptop. This laptop has been randomly disconnecting from wireless network ( not only mine. Tried different setups and modems also. ) So I called Samsung and wanted to get fixed, did not wanted to void the warranty ( plus I have other 2 laptops where wireless working without problem in my home. ) soo they sent the courier and etc. I received laptop back, they have added new wireless card. Guess what? No changes at all. Laptop was disconnecting randomly from wireless.. So I took wireless card from my other laptop and added to this Samsung - wireless started working perfectly.

Just couple days ago I've purchased new laptop ASUS K55V WIN8 Laptop. As I don't like WIN8 I reinstalled ORIGINAL version of Windows Ultimate. Win is up to date, with newest updates installed. Well.. This is weird, but I'm having on this laptop wireless problems too. This laptop also keeps disconnecting randomly from wireless network! I tried boot clean, checked in safe mode, turned off firewalls, nothing changes.. I also noticed one thing, if I just turn on laptop.. my wireless connection is up for at least 2 hours, after that, randomly disconnects every 5-15 minutes. Power management is disabled for wireless card device..

What the heck is going here? What should I do?

By the way.. my router details

Product name EchoLife HG521
Hardware version C.1.01
Firmware version v1.03

network authentication mode is WPA ( tried from shared to wpa 2 same shit ), enctryption mode is TKIP+AES and channel tab selected AUTO.

I am really getting confused, is it some bugged win 7 update or what...

I hope someone can help me.

Waiting ur opinions. and sorry for my broken english : D

Update,
So I was thinking about this issue, and it seems that Huawei calls this product a gateway, is that correct, or am I wrong.
If it is a router (or router and gateway) and you dont use Access Point. Then are your boardband DSL or about that phone connected... or are you using a cable or satilite internet.
I ask because if your dailup could be calls coming in, but I will assume that your cable/ethernet type
So if you check these links.
http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/downloadCenter.do?method=index&type=software
and look for updates, and your product info, unless you did this already
then go to

This shows a basic setup for your router...

My router is right here with me. I don't think there is any obstruction of the signal.

Yes I have. I tried reinstall drivers, same thing.

Usually when this happens, you need to update your routers, firmware and software. (I had routers work with Windows phones and computers but not keep connection with Apple products, stupid right)
To do this go to your manufactures website and locate your router number and model number. More than likely there is a new update for it. Follow the instructions. REMEMBER
If you have custom settings in your router (passwords, MAC filter etc) make a backup copy and a text document as a cheat sheet, if it doesn't take your backup and restore. It will save you time when you have to hand jam your settings back into the router, you only do that once.
IF that does not work, run Microsoft updates to see if there is one, or whatever your OS is, and lastly reset all the settings and open your router.
Then close it step by step until it stops working.
If it does not work still (even with no security and open) then you might have a hardware failure. A short, usually in the Low Volt pwr supply. (very common in all devices, when your LCD TV gets it you get Ghosting or black and white water stain looking things in the back ground)
If you have another Power Supply try that, sometimes it works

With either a LowVol or High Volt Pwr Supply there is not much you can do. Unless you can electrical troubleshoot, own a DMM(with mili and micro volts/Ohms settings), and can Micro Solder, and if you can have fun, cause I did that for a year and wanted to shoot myself, {I think robots do it these days, stupid Terminators taking good jobs people don't want to do}

This shows a basic setup for your router? maybe even wireless too
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYY3ETdQ0vU

you tube has videos on change ports and opening your NAT. If you are unsure about this read up before you do it, and make a back up so you can restore the settings later.
To that point restore your factory setting and try to connect without any encryption and security. If it works then with no issue then your NIC might not like the encryption you selected.
Lastly
Check for FIRMWARE and SOFTWARE updated to your wireless NIC. Had a issue once with a new router... I need software updates for my card to connect to the router. This could answer why your computer works with a different NIC from another computer.... if your drives load on auto with updates then when you put in a new NIC for the first time it will auto load them.
Also, is your card N/G type card or just one. What about your router is it a N or G type or both. (if its both your will see a selection in router settings for 2 frequencies)
If your new laptop card is N type "newest type" and your router is just 'G' type (old type) then your computer aint connection cause its looking for a freq that is not there, or can sometimes partial connect... I know it sound fake but it does happen, dont know why.
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2347539,00.asp This will give you a explanation of router band types.
Also (depending on where you live) are U using IPv4 or IPv6. This can matter, most use IPv4. To check go to
start button on windows
in the search bar
type cmd and hit [enter]
type ipconfig [enter]
do you see a IP under IpV6, or not. (for your wireless card) you can also look here
If ipconfig contains an IPv6 Address entry for a real interface, you've probably got IPv6 connectivity. There are also useful registry entries at HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\TCPIP6.

i know a lot right. Some you might of done, but check
1. router firmware, software and Band types
2. wireless card Firmware/software and Band type
3. ipv4 or ipv6 or both. Check both your card, and router.
4. talk all security off and try to connect with your wireless open.
5. check the links I provided
6. if all else fails then I don't know man..... good luck I know it sucks

So I was looking something else up unrelated and this is what Microsoft is saying about the issue. Look in these forms, its not just people who went to windows 7, its also others as well.
here is the link to microsoft support

Again man, good luck.
