Windows 8 dvd install w/o an optical drive?

That is a DVD.

Do you have another machine with a DVD drive?
If yes, create an ISO from that DVD from Amazon.
Then follow the directions from the MS USB tool.

You can skip making an iso from the DVD with this;
http://wintoflash.com/home/en/
It is free for non-commercial use.

You would still need another computer with DVD drive though..
