Hello, recently, my computer stopped turning on, and i mean stopped. No beeps, no sounds, so I checked my power supply with the paper clip thing, and I think its a new 650w, so it was fine. But my pc wouldnt turn on still. Does this mean I need a new motherboard? I tryed to plug it into a different outlet. Nothing. and if i do, can you recommend a decent cheap gaming motherboard? Reply quick!

Do you have the 20+4 and the 4/8 power cables both plugged into the mobo? might want to troubleshoot it on a bench, see this info thread:

The brand of the PSU is important as well, but the mobo should at least POST. Did you try all the steps outlined in the stickied thread?

Can you try turning it on by shorting the power on pins on the board with something metal like a screwdriver? (to rule out a case button problem)
