Hey,

I just moved my PC from one room to another, very carefully, and now it won't show any signs of power. I didn't bump it at all. I've moved it before without any issues. I've now moved it back and still won't work. All connections seem to be good, power switch on, plugs in. I was thinking the psu failed, but I have no idea how to pin point that.... I'm just totally confused.

All this hardware is from 2009

intel core2duo e7500
gigabyte ga-ep45-ud3l
g.skill 4gb
hd 5750
western digital black 640
windows 7 64bit
ocz 600w modxstream pro

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've tried 3 different wall outlets...same outcome. I shut down completely....waited for all lights / fans to be off. Then switched psu off. Then unplugged mouse, keyboard etc..

Hmm, I can't think of anything then that would cause your PC to just up and die like that... Maybe something got loose and shorted the Mobo? It sounds too far fetched though...

Well from the sounds of it I'd try the Mobo first, because I don't understand how moving the PSU could break it. Depending on the cost of the new mobo however, I might try to see if I could borrow a PSU to try before buying something.
