just wondering what would be the best way to calibrate this monitor, i do mostly gaming on my rig but also watch netflix and movies etc. thanks in advance!

Since you are not doing photo editing, etc. I think your best bet is to take it to
a PC shop & have them calibrate it. If you were into photo editing or any type
of graphic design I'd suggest a calibration tool, such as Colomunki, Datacolor, etc.
The prices of those are all over the map though.
