i have an antec neo 520w eco and i am planning to buy the new i5 -4430. is the PSU compatible to the new Haswell CPU? i have done some research and they say that not all PSUs are compatible with haswell

Yes your PSU is compatible with Haswell platform, just need to disable C7 state from the Haswell motherboard's BIOS ( which shouldn't take more than 20 sec ).
