Hi,

Here are some (noob) questions for you about components.

- Do power supplies usually comes with an AC power cord ? I look to buy a XFX PRO 750W XXX and I'm was just asking myself if I'll had to buy one appart.

- Do you think it's a good idea to add fans to the Corsair Carbide 500R ?

- What are the differences between these two SSD: Samsung 840 and Samsung 840 Pro ?

- What are the benefits of having faster RAM ? I'm I OK if I buy only 1600 MHz RAM or I should buy a faster one for gaming ?

Solution
1) Power supplies usually come with the standard power cord for your locale's outlets (open box and some OEM's may not) the XFX Pro 750 should come with an AC cord
2) The addition of fans to any case depends upon the cooling needs of the system, in some cases it is prudent, in others it may simply be a waste - system dependant
3) The Samsung 840 pro is a tad bit faster than the 840 but for most home uses, the speed difference is not appreciable
4) Currently there is not an appreciable difference in ram speeds above 1600MHz - the speeds will be noted if benching but for normal uses and gaming 1600MHz is fine
