I currently have a MSI 760GM-P21 (FX) Motherboard AMD AM3/3+.

I just bought corsair vengeance 1600mhz 8GB without looking at my motherboard spec. And it doesn't support it.

I have a amd phenom x965 black edition CPU.

Can you help me find a motherboard that supports both the CPU and memory? Budget of around £30-£50 please.

This is for my friend so that's his price range.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply - best solution as it was a correct motherboard for the job, I did purchase a different one after raising my budget to £60. I recently bought the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Socket AM3+ 7.1 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard from Ebuyer.com for around £52.

Thanks,
