I know it is a lot but are these parts compatible/work well together for gaming?

I would reccomend stepping up at least to the 660ti to have a stand in gaming. Personally I would go for a higher wattage psu, people always say im getting too much but then, its not like that's a problem, like getting too little is, besides im always upgrading. If your planning a 990fx board you could always take a look at the Asus Sabertooth 990fx r2.0 , theres a GEN3 version of that but its not really worth it. Otherwise I think this is decent.
