First Homebuilt: Boot error prevents computer from booting properly

Hello all, This is my first homebuilt computer so please excuse my newbie-ness

My boot order for my computer is 1. Sandisk SSD 2. USB CD/DVD. However, when my computer starts up it says "Reboot and select proper boot device, or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key

ERROR MESSAGE

Does anyone know why this happens? The only way for me to get around it is too go into my Bios and manually boot to my SSD

My build is as follows....

Motherboard: MSI Z77MA-G45
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K Overclocked to 4.5Ghz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 (MSI OC'd)
RAM: 8gb of DDR3, Corsair Vengeance and 1866 Mhz
PSU: Rosewill 530 watt 80+ Bronze
SSD: Sandisk Extreme 240GB
HDD: 2x500gb (No raid)
and I have a USB powered CD/DVD drive
