Do I have to reinstall my OS after replacing my motherboard?

Thanks in advance.

If you are replacing it with the same motherboard, then no. If it is a different model, then maybe. You can always remove all drivers from your current Windows OS and then boot with your new motherboard and pop in a Windows installation DVD and click Repair.

You should read and follow the MS EULA for your operating system.

That clears up a lot for me. I just watched a video on YouTube about this subject and they didn't distinguish between an upgrade and a reinstall of the mo/bo. I am waiting for ASUS to return my mo/bo after repairs. Thank you for letting me know I don't have to go through the problems of reinstalling everything else. So, in conclusion, your saying if I am just reinstalling my mo/bo there is nothing else I will have to do? Thanks for the info!
