Nothing happens when parts are assembled in case.

So yesterday I made a forum post saying that nothing happend when I pressed the power button of my newly assembled computer. Today, the problem still occured, so I took out the motherboard, RAM, Video Card, CPU (and fan), and Power supply and did an external build, and everything seemed fine, so they all work. When I put it all back in the case and hooked everything up, nothing happened (again) when turned on. Is there something wrong with my case?

Solution
Like the other post.
Have a good check of the back plate of the case and make sure all the stand off`s line up with the motherboard holes. Any extra ones need removing. or a short on the back of the board will stop it booting, or even break the board.

Do you have any other solutions to what could be going wrong?
