Hello y'all,

So I'm new to the custom pc building world (going to be parting from my mac really soon...finally). I am wondering what the best budget PSU (ideally modular) would be for this build:

cpu: i7-3770k
motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP4
gpu: Sapphire Radeon HD7970 OC
ram: HyperX Black 8gb (2x4gb) 1600mhz
HDD: Seagate 1TB ST1000DM003

Thanks!

If you have access to Newegg, you can get a XFX 550W PSU for only $39.99. But you need to hurry because it's only for the July 4 special sale.

+1
Only suggested 650w version as there isn't a modular version of the 550w. However, there's good reason for this as there are not that many cables attached.

I probably should have added this in the original post, but there may be some overclocking done in the future and an addition of a corsair hydro h100i.

kshams recommendation is the best deal out there for your rig, if
you act by tomorrow.

Modular will run you quite a bit more, but will recommend if you
want to spend upwards of $80.
